Tamiya Fine Craft Saws II (for Scribing)

Tamiya Fine Craft Saws II (for Scribing) is a set of fine modeling saws intended above all for scribing and restoring detail. The teeth are smaller and more closely spaced than on ordinary fine saws, so the cut is very narrow. The set contains straight and curved blades 0.1 mm thick. The blade holders can be folded, so you can work with the saw held directly in your hand, or fit them to the handle of the Tamiya modeling knife, which is sold separately.

Use

• Deepening and restoring the panel (engraved) lines that disappear while cleaning up mold seams
• Marking out new engraved lines and detail on the surface of a model
• Fine cutting and trimming of smaller plastic parts with a minimal cut width
• Work held in the hand or fitted to the handle of a modeling knife
