A towing cable for the Soviet IS-2 and IS-3 heavy tanks in 1:72 scale from Eureka XXL. Note: this is not a tank model but a detail accessory set with which you replace the plastic towing cable on the base model with a more convincing version. The set contains braided copper cable and resin eyes, thanks to which the cable takes on a realistic sag and realistic ends.

What the set is for

• It replaces the coarser plastic towing cable from the box with a more convincing metal version

• The copper cable can be bent into a natural shape and attached to the hull of the tank
• The resin eyes are glued to the ends of the cable with cyanoacrylate

Usage tips

First wash the resin eyes and cut off the casting remains, then glue them with cyanoacrylate to the ends of the copper cable. Bend the cable into a realistic sag according to the mounts on the model. Apply a primer before painting so that the paint holds on both the metal and the resin.
