Fluorescent Green is a bottled water-thinnable acrylic paint of the 3rd Generation range. The shade is deliberately a signal one: a sharp, glowing green of the kind carried by warning markings, safety vests, sports accessories or gaming and science fiction elements. A fluorescent shade looks bright in daylight, but it is not a paint that glows in the dark by itself.
A signal shade is almost never applied over a whole model; it is worked on areas the size of a fingernail and smaller, where the cleanness of the edge decides everything. Use a brush with a sharp point, take the paint on the tip only and wipe the excess on the edge of the palette, so that no drop forms at the base of the bristles and then floods the whole shape. Thin it carefully: a thinned acrylic runs over the surface on its own and you will no longer hold a precise edge. Two or three very thin coats with a short pause are better than one heavy one. Over a dark base, try the behavior of the shade first on an offcut of the sprue frame and if necessary lay a lighter tone underneath.
For modelers of modern vehicles, figure painters and builders of science fiction and gaming models who need one really strong accent. The chemistry is acrylic and water-thinnable; note that the same brand also sells oil paints, sprays and lacquer ranges under similar names, and they cannot be mixed with the acrylic.
Keep out of the reach of children. Ventilate while spraying and protect your airways. Wash the brush with water immediately after use, as saturated pigments leave residue at the ferrule.
