A gaming measuring tool 12 inches long in a fluorescent orange, for the distances that the rules of tabletop battle games give in inches.
Responsibility details are not available.
Tabletop battle games are played on distances: how far a figure may move, how far it can shoot, how close a commander has to be for an order to apply. In most rules these distances are given in inches, and that is why at the table you cannot manage without a measuring tool that is at hand and is laid down quickly. This tool measures twelve inches, that is roughly thirty centimeters, which covers the ordinary movement and shooting distances with no setting and no repositioning.
The finish is in a fluorescent orange. On a gaming board full of terrain and figures a color like that is seen at once, so the measuring tool does not sink in among hills and copses and does not get left lying on the table by mistake at the end of a game. At the same time it suits a table where every player has a measuring tool of their own and it is practical to tell them apart at first glance.
Lay the measuring tool flat against the playing surface and read it vertically from above, or you will skew the distance a little. Do not use it as a guide for cutting with a knife, as the blade would damage the edge and the tool would stop measuring straight. Clean it with a damp cloth and no solvents, and do not store it under heavy objects or in direct sunlight, so that it does not warp.
Figures, terrain and the rules of the game are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
