Gaming Measuring Tool - Green 8 inches

Gaming Measuring Tool - Green 8 inches

The green version of the gaming measuring tool from the Spanish brand Green Stuff World. It is used to measure movement and reaches in inches, that is in the unit most battle games with figures work with. The figure of eight inches is the gaming range of the aid, not the size of the product and not the scale of a model. The green finish is easy to read on a gaming table and, in a set of several colors, works as a quieter counterweight to the signal shades. The range offers several shades, so every player at the table can take a color of their own.

What the aid is good for

• Measuring the movement of a figure or a unit within a turn
• Checking the reach of a shot, an aura or an ability
• Deciding quickly whether a target is still within reach
• Telling the players' tools apart by color at the table
• Measuring the gap between units when setting up

What to keep in mind when playing

A range of eight inches covers the short and medium distances that make up most of the measuring in a session. Longer reaches are measured in stages or with a longer version. When both sides at the table measure with a piece of their own, the session is not held up by passing a single tool around. The rules of individual games differ in where and when measuring is allowed, so the rulebook of the particular game remains decisive. The aid is universal and does not belong to a single gaming system.

Who it is for

• Players of tabletop battles where movement is given in inches
• Players of board games with free movement across the surface
• Gaming clubs where every table should have a tool
• Anyone who wants measuring to be quick and without argument
