A gaming measuring tool 12 inches long in a red finish, for the distances that the rules of tabletop battle games give in inches.
Responsibility details are not available.
Battle games on a table are played on distances, and the rules give them in inches almost without exception. A measuring tool in inches therefore saves both conversion and argument: it is laid against a figure, read, and play goes on. A length of twelve inches corresponds to roughly thirty centimeters and covers the ordinary movement and most shooting distances at once.
A strong color is seen at once on a gaming board, so the measuring tool does not sink in among terrain and does not get left lying among the scenery when a game is over. It also suits a table where every player has a measuring tool in a different color and it is practical to tell at first glance whose is which.
Read it vertically from above and lay the measuring tool flat, or you will overstate or understate the distance a little. Do not run a knife along it, as a broken edge makes the measuring worthless. Wipe it with a damp cloth and no solvents and do not store it under heavy objects, so that it does not bend.
The measuring tool will be appreciated by a player of tabletop battle games who does not want to reach for a rule with two scales at every turn, and by a modeler who finds a firm aid for measuring spacings in a display case or on a diorama useful.
Figures, terrain and the rules of the game are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
