Grey-Green is an acrylic modeling paint of the 3rd Generation range from AK interactive: a muted gray-green, thinnable with water.
Responsibility details are not available.
A gray-green shade from the 3rd Generation acrylic range. It is a water-thinnable acrylic, not a lacquer: shades under the same name exist from other manufacturers and in other chemistries, so go by the range when buying, not by the name alone. Grey-Green is a typical muted tone: it has enough green not to read as gray, yet it is broken enough not to shout on the model and to take weathering well.
The difference lies mainly in the consistency and in the number of coats. With a brush, muted greens go on well slightly thinned, in two or three thin coats; each further coat evens the strokes out and the shade settles. In the airbrush, thin the paint more and spray it in several light passes; when going over a dark base, expect the first pass only to hint at the tone and the full color to arrive with the next ones. Check the thinning ratio on an offcut, not on the model itself. Always shake the bottle before use and wipe the neck so that the cap keeps sealing.
For modelers of military vehicles and figure painters looking for a green broken toward gray, either as a finished shade or as a starting point for their own mixing.
An acrylic paint. Store it out of the reach of children, and make sure of ventilation and respiratory protection while spraying.
