Have Glass is the name under which the later overall gray finish of American fighter aircraft is listed, and modeling instructions give it under that name. The shade is intended above all for overall single-color finishes on modern fighters, where it carries the whole surface of the machine. It is precisely with single-color finishes that the result depends more on the work with the shade than on the shade itself: the surface needs subtle differences of lightness between panels so that the model does not look like a plastic shell.
Smooth the surface, wash it and degrease it. Stir the bottle thoroughly; the pigment settles at the bottom while it stands. Apply it in several thin coats with a short pause between them, and on a large continuous area run the airbrush passes with an overlap and at a constant speed, or streaks will appear. Thin it with the thinner intended for this range of paints; the thinning ratio and the airbrush pressure are given by the manufacturer in the instructions.
