About product

Styrene I beam 1.6 x 0.8 mm, 250 mm long

A profile with an I-shaped section (I beam) in polystyrene, in a fine version for small scales. The beam is 1.6 mm high, the flange is 0.8 mm wide and the material is 0.4 mm thick; the length is 250 mm. It is used as load-bearing beams, columns and frames on models of buildings, bridges, cranes and industrial structures.

Styrene is easy to shorten, sand and glue with solvent cement. The profile can be primed and varnished.
