Mr.Paint IJNAF D2 Ryokukokushoku (Black Green) is a lacquer (solvent-based) modeling shade intended exclusively for airbrush spraying. The paint is pre-thinned to a consistency suitable for the airbrush and ready for immediate use; if needed, fine-tune it with the matching thinner from the same manufacturer. The usual package volume is 30 ml.

The shade represents the dark green historically called Ryokukokushoku (literally blackish-green), the standard dark green upper-surface color used to camouflage Japanese naval aircraft. It suits modelers who want to accurately capture the typical camouflage of Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service aircraft from the Second World War.

Use

• upper dark green camouflage on Japanese naval aircraft (WWII)
• applied exclusively with an airbrush in thin, covering coats
• the paint is pre-thinned; for a finer spray it can be fine-tuned with the manufacturer's thinner
• the best result comes over a cured primer and in a well-ventilated space

For more experienced modelers and collectors of Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft who work with an airbrush and want a historically accurate upper camouflage shade. It is not suited to brush application or working without an airbrush.
