Woodland Scenics Kids at Play are a set of six hand-painted figures of children in HO scale for layouts, playgrounds and dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of six finished figures of children for layouts and scenic set pieces in HO scale, which corresponds to 1:87. The figures are of plastic, finely shaped and hand-painted, so they need neither assembly nor painting. They catch ordinary children's games, among them a boy on roller skates, a rider on a skateboard, a girl with a backpack, a boy about to throw a ball, a little girl on a large inflatable ball and a child with a throwing ring.
Fix the figures with a small drop of PVA or cyanoacrylate glue, otherwise they easily shift when the layout is handled. Figures of children are small, so they stand out better in open space than among tall greenery. A light overspray of matte varnish evens the sheen out with the surroundings and a fine dark wash deepens the folds of the clothing. You will support the movement in the scene by turning the figures toward each other, as if it were one shared game. Figures of children also work as a guide to scale, because the size of buildings, vehicles and adult figures on the layout stands out at once beside them.
The figures are supplied finished and painted. Play equipment, a playground and glue are not included in the package.
