Lifecolor Gun Metal (gloss steel metallic)

A water-thinnable acrylic paint of Italian manufacture in a 22 ml bottle. This dark gloss metallic shade corresponds to the standard FS 17200 and suits weapons, barrels, chassis, engines and other metal details on models. The paint is non-toxic, practically odorless and dries quickly.

Use

  • Applied with a brush as well as an airbrush; for spraying it is thinned with water or acrylic thinner to a milky consistency.
  • The metallic pigment settles to the bottom, so stir the bottle thoroughly before use.
  • It comes out best on a smooth, finely sanded surface.
  • Apply it rather toward the end of a build, as metallics are harder to overspray and mask.
