A sheet of water-slide decal strips printed in the shade RLM 75 Grauviolett. The strips are cut to measure and applied like an ordinary decal, a quick route to cleanly bounded areas of color with no spraying, suited to camouflage fields, bands and small repairs.
RLM 75 Grauviolett is the gray-violet shade that the Luftwaffe introduced in 1941 for day fighters. On the upper surfaces it was combined with the lighter gray RLM 74 and complemented by the light RLM 76 on the sides and undersides, producing the typical late gray scheme known from the Bf 109 of the F and G series or from the Fw 190. The shade also appeared on night fighters and on other types of the late period of the war.
A practical help for builders of German fighters of the late period, from modelers without an airbrush to the experienced who want to save time on repairs. In broken places use a decal softening solution, and the strip will then adhere into the pressings and up to the edges of the panels.
The decal sheet is a stand-alone accessory; the kit and paints are not included in the package.
