Luminous Red (RAL 3024)

Luminous Red RAL 3024 (Mr.Paint)

A brilliant red, fluorescent (neon) shade from the Mr.Paint lacquer range to the RAL 3024 Luminous Red standard. It is a signal, highly visible red for warning and conspicuous surfaces. The saturated red looks very striking even on a small area and also works as a bold accent or supplementary marking. Fluorescent paints inherently have lower coverage than ordinary shades, so they show at their best over a white or light base. The paint is a solvent-based lacquer supplied ready for spraying, with fine pigment and fast drying to a smooth surface.

Use

• Intended for the airbrush; the paint is ready for direct spraying and usually needs no thinning.
• If thinning is needed, use the lacquer thinner of this brand, not water.
• For full brilliance apply in thin coats over a white or light base.
• Suitable for warning and conspicuous surfaces and for day markings on equipment.
• Fluorescent pigments fade over time; for saturation choose several thin coats.

Who it is for

For modelers who need a signal fluorescent red for conspicuous surfaces and markings and who work with an airbrush and lacquer paints. Mr.Paint lacquers are not primarily intended for the brush.

A lacquer-based paint: flammable. Spray in a well-ventilated space and with respiratory protection (a respirator), away from children and open flame.
