Magenta is an acrylic modeling paint of the 3rd Generation range from AK interactive: a rich purple-pink, thinned with water.

A magenta shade from the 3rd Generation acrylic range. Magenta is one of the basic mixing colors: together with yellow and cyan it lets you mix the whole band of red, pink and violet tones that are hard to put together from ready-made shades. It is an acrylic thinned with water. Take care when choosing: AK interactive also carries an oil paint and a drybrush product under the name Magenta, and those are entirely different materials with a different technique and different thinning. This item is the bottled acrylic paint.
Magenta is worked drop by drop. It is a very strong shade, so even a small amount shifts a whole mix markedly: add it to the lighter color, not the other way round, otherwise you will use up a great deal of material before you get back. Mix on a palette and judge the result only on a dried sample. On the model lay on thin coats with enough drying time between them; saturated shades in one heavy coat flood the engraved detail. Shake the bottle thoroughly before every use and wipe the neck so that the cap keeps sealing.
For modelers and figure painters who mix their own shades, and for anyone who needs a clean magenta accent or a strong color component for mixes.
An acrylic paint. Keep out of the reach of children, ventilate while spraying and use respiratory protection.
