RP Toolz figure painting handle

A specialized aid from the Hungarian brand RP Toolz intended for painting figures. It is made of anodized aluminum, steel and clear acrylic. Into the self-tightening chuck you clamp a needle or a rod onto which you fit the figure, and while painting you thus hold it by the handle instead of by the figure itself. The handle is light and sits well in the hand.

Use

• Into an invisible part of the figure (usually underneath) you drill a hole, clamp a needle or wire in the chuck and fit the figure on.
• The chuck takes pins and drill bits over a wide range of diameter, so it holds small as well as larger figures.
• It allows the figure to be turned freely and angled to the light without touching the surface being painted.
• The clear base serves as a stable stand to set the work down on while the paint dries.
