MDF Movement Trays 25mm x5 - Skirmish

MDF Movement Trays 25mm x5 - Skirmish

The smaller Green Stuff World gaming tray in the Skirmish version, prepared for figures on bases designated 25mm. The x5 figure is part of the name and sets it apart from the larger version of the same sub-range. The abbreviation MDF is given in the name itself. It is not a display base for a cabinet but an aid for moving a small group of figures at once.

A small group and order on the table

With the smaller format the main benefit is not the speed of the move but the overview. A gaming table tends to be full of terrain, tokens and set-aside models, and it is precisely the small groups that get lost in that clutter the most. When a group has its own tray, it is clearly visible where it belongs and who does not belong to it. At the same time it can be moved aside as a whole without knocking over the neighboring figures. The looser spacing of the Skirmish version also leaves the models room, so they do not catch on each other when they are set down and picked up.

When to reach for the smaller version

• for small groups that get lost on a large tray
• when there is little room on the table and a large formation is in the way
• to keep order among terrain and set-aside models
• as a companion to the larger one of the same sub-range

Who it is for

For players of skirmish games who work with only a few figures at a time, and for anyone who wants clearly separated groups on the table. Before buying, check the base size of your figures; the layout matches the measurement given in the name.
