Responsibility details are not available.
Mod Eagle Grey is a darker, cool gray that the Federal Standard 595 carries under number 36176. The standard describes paint shades numerically, so they can be compared across manufacturers; the leading digit in the designation refers to the matte sample of the standard, while for the actual finish the manufacturer's data applies. The shade is known from the gray camouflage of modern American fighters, where it forms the darker part of a two-tone finish completed by a lighter gray. Judge its exact look against the color chart and the label.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before work so that pigment settled at the bottom is spread evenly. Use the thinner intended for this range and keep the thinning ratio and the way of applying it as the manufacturer states on the packaging. Apply several thin coats with a pause; one heavy coat fills the engraving and the fine surface detail disappears. Wash and degrease the surface of the model beforehand. With a two-tone gray camouflage, plan in advance which shade goes on first, so that the boundary is sprayed over the masking only once.
For builders of modern aircraft who need a shade matching a particular standard number and want their paints matched within a single range. It will also serve as a neutral darker gray anywhere else a cool tone without a blue or brown undertone is needed.
The thinner, brushes and an airbrush are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. The volume of the package is stated on the box.
