A modeling chisel from the Model Chisel line by Master Tools (Trumpeter). It has a round, curved blade which, unlike a flat chisel, cuts a groove with a rounded, semicircular bottom. It suits engraving curved lines, deepening rounded details, grooves and drainage channels, and places where a square blade would look unnatural. The letter R marks the round profile; among the round chisels the R2 is the smaller version, while a wider curve is offered by the RR2.
For modelers who need to engrave rounded lines and details where a flat chisel is not enough. For a wider curve, reach for the RR2 version.
