The oddments that fit nowhere else are often what make a scene. 1:48 other military vehicle accessories take in hand tool sets, workshop crates for maintenance, a welding trolley with oxygen and acetylene bottles, and an anti-tank hedgehog welded up from sections. They suit workshops, the edge of a hardstand and fortified positions alike; service facilities are the thing most often left out of quarter-scale models.
These items are sized for 1:48 military model kits, and the scene is completed by 1:48 figures cast as mechanics. Straps, nets and other oddments in the remaining sizes are in other military vehicle accessories. Metal tools look right in graphite with a faint sheen worked onto the working edges.
