About product

Mr.Paint RLM 66 Schwarzgrau (the Aqua range)

RLM 66 Schwarzgrau is a German aviation shade of dark gray, typical of the interiors and surfaces of German aircraft of the Second World War. This paint comes from the acrylic (water-thinnable) Aqua range of the manufacturer Mr.Paint and is supplied in a 17 ml bottle. It is pre-thinned and intended for brush and airbrush alike, and once dry it has a satin finish.

Use

  • Suitable for application with a brush and with an airbrush
  • Thinned with water, or with an acrylic thinner — not with lacquer thinner
  • Apply it in thin coats onto a clean surface, ideally over a primer
  • For a covering result apply two or three thin coats

Who it is for

For modelers of German aircraft of the Second World War who work with water-thinnable acrylics for brush and airbrush.

A water-thinnable acrylic. Even so, work in a well-ventilated area and store the paint out of the reach of children.
