Turnbuckles with an anchor in the type A form, a small accessory for the bracing wires of aircraft models. It is not a kit but parts to finish a model with.
Responsibility details are not available.
Small accessories for models of aircraft with bracing wires and cables. On the real machine a turnbuckle is a screw coupling with which a wire is tensioned as far as it needs to go. On a model it replaces what a kit usually suggests with nothing but faint relief, or what is missing from it altogether. The form with an anchor has in addition the anchoring part with which the accessory sits down on the wing or on the fuselage.
Bracing between the wings of a biplane or between the fuselage and the flying surface is the first thing a viewer notices. The wire itself the modeler stretches from thread or thin wire, but the anchorage and the turnbuckles have to be added separately, and it is exactly this part that the line covers. The line comes in two types, A and B; this item is type A.
For builders of biplanes and older aircraft who want their bracing faithful down to the last detail. Working with parts of this size calls for tweezers, good light and a calm hand.
The package contains only the accessories named. The model, the thread for the bracing, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
