Neutral Grey 17ml

AK interactive Neutral Grey 17 ml – an acrylic modeling paint

Neutral Grey is a modeling paint, not a kit. It is a neutral gray shade from the 3rd Generation Acrylics range of the brand AK interactive, that is, a water-thinnable acrylic in a 17 ml dropper bottle. The paint is strongly pigmented, covers well in the first coat already, dries matte and it bonds to plastic, resin and metal. It is thinned with water or with the manufacturer's acrylic thinner – never with lacquer thinner – and it is applied with a brush and with an airbrush alike.

Use

• A universal neutral gray for the gray surfaces of hardware, accessories, interiors and equipment.
• Preshading and shading – darker underpainting of panel lines, seams and recesses before the covering coat goes on.
• Mixing shades – a neutral gray is colorless in the sense that it neither warms nor cools the color you mix it with. It only reduces its saturation and shifts it toward gray, which is exactly what is expected of a mixing gray.
• Creating faded and scale-effect tones by mixing it into the base color.
• Airbrush – for spraying, thin the paint roughly to the consistency of milk and spray in thin coats.

Who the paint is for

For modelers of aircraft, military hardware, ships and figures who want a reliable gray usable both as a covering finish and as a working color on the palette – for shading, preshading and mixing. The dropper bottle allows dosing drop by drop, so a ratio once mixed can be repeated exactly at any time. The third generation formula is tuned so that the paint does not dry in the nozzle of an airbrush.

A water-thinnable acrylic. Ensure sufficient ventilation and protect your airways (a respirator) when spraying with an airbrush. Keep out of the reach of children. The paint is supplied on its own: brushes, thinner and an airbrush are not included in the package.
