A blue-keyed set of eight shades for the oversight corps from the world of a tabletop game set in the near future. From an almost black through a deep and a light blue to an icy yellow accent, 17 ml each.

The universe of the tabletop battle game this palette belongs to puts several hostile powers in the foreground and between them one oversight corps whose task is to keep the balance among them. Its visual identity is deliberately cool and plain: blue in several steps prevails, completed by white areas and restrained warning items. It is not meant to come across as the army of one country but as a neutral force that can be recognized at first glance.
The make-up of the eight bottles of seventeen milliliters matches that. Blue is represented in four graded positions, which on a small figure is enough for the whole passage from shadow to highlight.
The binder is acrylic and is cleaned with water alone; once dry a matte surface stays, on which a glaze as well as work with a dry brush holds. Gaming figures tend to be small, so it pays to lay the paint on thinned in two passes rather than once thickly. The range also suits wherever a cool blue is to carry meaning in itself, that is for the uniforms of technical personnel or for signal areas. Figures and bases are not in the package.
