Eduard Photo-Etched Stencils - Oblongs and Squares

A set of photo-etched modeling stencils from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, intended for engraving and restoring details on the surface of a model. It contains cutouts of oblong and square shapes in graduated sizes, by which covers, panels, access hatches and other features can be engraved or traced accurately. The thin etched sheet adapts even to rounded surfaces, so a stencil holds its shape on the curved fuselage of an aircraft as well. The straight edges moreover serve for engraving longer straight panel lines.

Use

• Lay the stencil on the surface and trace the chosen shape with a scriber or a scalpel.
• Restore the details that were rubbed away while sanding and filling joints.
• Use it as a masking stencil when spraying oblong and square areas.
• Thanks to the springiness of the etched sheet, lay it on a rounded fuselage or engine cowlings as well.
• Use the straight edges for engraving continuous straight panel lines.

Who it is for

It will be appreciated by modelers who want to restore and add panel lines and details accurately, without the uncertainty of doing it freehand. It is a universal aid independent of a particular model or scale, suitable for aircraft, vehicles and other hardware.
