PS60 Mica Red Spray

Tamiya PS-60 Bright Mica Red - a 100 ml Lexan spray

An aerosol lacquer spray made specifically for the clear polycarbonate (Lexan) bodies of RC models. The Bright Mica Red shade is a bright red with a pearlescent metallic effect. One 100 ml can will usually cover one body. The paint resists oils and fuels, so it can be used without worry on engine-powered RC models as well.

Use

• Shake the can thoroughly before spraying and spray from a distance of roughly 25 to 30 cm.
• Polycarbonate bodies are painted from the inside so that the glossy outer surface stays protected.
• Apply several thin coats with short pauses instead of one heavy one.
• With pearlescent metallic shades a white or silver base helps the effect come out better.

Who it is for

For RC modelers finishing the Lexan bodies of cars and buggies. This type of lacquer is not suitable for ordinary plastic kits, because the aggressive solvent would attack the plastic.

Flammable aerosol under pressure. Use in a well ventilated space, away from open flame, with respiratory protection. Do not use on polystyrene, that is ordinary plastic, models.
