A light green shade from Hataka's Orange Line. The name refers to the Argentine FMA IA-58 Pucará ground attack aircraft, a twin-engine turboprop machine intended to support ground troops, whose camouflage is made up of these muted green and brown tones. The shade is lighter and cooler than the dark greens used on European schemes.
Above all on models of the Pucará and on other machines with South American camouflage, but it also serves anywhere you need a light military green with no cast toward yellow. It works well as an intermediate tone when lightening darker green surfaces and when suggesting the fading of the upper surfaces of the wings and fuselage. It also serves for accessories and drop tanks, whose tone often differs from the airframe.
Shake the bottle well before use; the pigment settles at the bottom. The thinner intended for this line and the thinning ratio are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging, so follow that; mixing it with thinners of other lines does not pay off. Spray in several thin coats and let each one become tacky, because a single heavy coat floods the surface detail. On two-tone and three-tone camouflage it pays to spray the transitions from the lighter shade toward the darker one. Clean the tools and the airbrush right after work; dried paint is far harder to remove.
Thinner, cleaner, primer and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
