Responsibility details are not available.
A paint from the 3rd Generation Acrylics AIR range for aircraft models, a water-thinnable acrylic in a 17 ml bottle. Extra Dark Sea Grey matches the British standard BS381C/640 and is a very dark, cool gray. It sprays like a lacquer, is thinned with water or acrylic thinner, and is non-toxic and non-flammable.
This shade formed the upper surfaces of naval camouflage (paired with the dark green-gray) and later belonged to the postwar day fighter scheme, where it was combined with dark green over the lighter Medium Sea Grey below. It appeared on Coastal Command machines, on Fleet Air Arm aircraft and on postwar fighters.
For modelers of British naval and postwar fighter aircraft who want the exact shade to the BS381C/640 standard.
A water-thinnable acrylic, non-toxic and non-flammable. Even so, ventilate and use extraction while airbrushing.
