Red Nano LED Lights are miniature red LEDs from the Just Plug lighting system by Woodland Scenics. They are used for small tail, signal and warning lights on models.

A miniature light source with a red LED. The Nano version is the smallest in the whole range: the diode is encapsulated straight on the end of a thin lead terminated with a Just Plug system plug, with no flat self-adhesive pad. It is precisely with red lights that this comes in useful, because tail and signal lights tend to be small on models and lighting them calls for a source that will hide in a very small space.
The Just Plug hub and the power supply are sold separately and without them the LED will not light. Every output of the hub has its own brightness control, so you set the red to suit the situation: a lower brightness for smoldering embers or a subdued signal, a higher one where the light is meant to be clearly seen. Neither soldering nor series resistors are needed and an LED practically does not heat up, so it can be glued even into a closed body.
For modelers who do their model lighting their own way and need the smallest possible red source of light, and for users of the Just Plug system extending an installation with detail lights.
Neither the Just Plug hub nor the power supply is included in the package, unless stated otherwise. The thin lead of a miniature LED is sensitive to pulling and bending, so run it freely and do not strain it where it meets the diode.
