A red acrylic modeling paint from the Real Colors range by AK Interactive, the manufacturer's part number RC810, a shade to the RAL 3000 standard. A 17 ml bottle.
Responsibility details are not available.
On a model a rich red is the color of the areas that stand out: warning stripes, fire and rescue equipment, sporting machines, propeller blades with a warning band and small elements meant to catch the eye at first glance. The number RAL 3000 names the shade according to an industrial standard, so you can compare it against documentation for the subject or against a paint from another maker instead of relying on a verbal description in the name.
Red pigment covers weakly and loses its richness over a dark or varied base. It therefore pays to start with a white or light gray base and only then lay the red on in several thin coats. Patience repays itself twice over here: a heavy coat floods the engraved lines and leaves ridges on edges. Before you begin, rid the surface of grease and dust, otherwise the coat will chip off along with the paint under the masking tape when it is peeled away. Stir the paint thoroughly and thin it with the thinner intended for this range; the thinning ratio and the airbrush pressure are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
When red is to be only a stripe or a panel on an otherwise differently colored machine, spray it first and only then mask it and add the surrounding shade. Lay the masking tape on a perfectly dry coat and peel it slowly, at an angle away from the edge. A richly red area takes darkening in the corners and gentle lightening in the middle; otherwise it looks like a sticker on the model.
For modelers who paint with an airbrush and a brush alike and want a red with a shade documented to a standard. The bottle holds 17 ml of paint; thinner and other accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
