The light blue RLM 65 in its 1941 form, an acrylic paint from the Real Colors range in a 17 ml package. The shade of the lower surfaces of Luftwaffe machines.
Responsibility details are not available.
The light blue RLM 65 covered the lower surfaces of German aircraft throughout the first half of the war. The manufacturer offers it in two dated forms, and this jar corresponds to 1941. During the war the lighter RLM 76 began to take hold on the undersides of a number of types, but RLM 65 remained in use, so both numbers appear on machines from the same period.
On the lower surface of the wings, on the underside of the fuselage and the tail surfaces, and on some machines also on the sides of the fuselage up to the boundary with the upper camouflage. Base your choice between the dated forms of the shade on the time your subject belongs to and on the drawings enclosed with the kit. The rest of the paint will serve for touching up after sanding and for small parts glued on last.
The paint is supplied in a volume of 17 ml. Do not return leftovers from the palette to the jar, so that no dirt gets into it. Thinner, primer, varnish and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise. For thinning, cleaning the tools and storage, follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging. Work in a well ventilated room and keep the jar carefully closed and out of the reach of children.
