About product

Mr.Paint RLM 65 Hellblau, a lacquer paint for the airbrush

A pre-thinned lacquer (solvent-based) model paint from Mr.Paint in the shade RLM 65 Hellblau, a light blue meant for spraying with an airbrush. The paint is ready to use straight from the bottle with no further thinning, dries quickly, covers excellently and forms a thin smooth layer. The RLM 65 shade was used in the Second World War on the undersurfaces of Luftwaffe aircraft in the early period of the war.

Use

  • The undersurfaces of German fighters and bombers (the Bf 109, He 111 or Ju 87 for example) of the early period of the Second World War
  • Light blue lower and side surfaces according to the period schemes of the Luftwaffe
  • Applied with an airbrush only, in thin coats over a suitable primer
  • It combines well with other shades of the RLM line when building camouflage

Who the paint is for

For modelers building German aircraft of the Second World War who want a faithful shade for the undersurfaces. Because it is pre-thinned it will be appreciated by less experienced airbrush users too, as the paint is ready to spray and needs no thinner to be measured out.

A lacquer (solvent-based) product and flammable. Spray it with an airbrush only, in a well ventilated space, use a respirator and protect your skin and eyes. It is not meant for brush application. Keep out of the reach of children and away from sources of ignition.

The paint is intended for an airbrush only. It is not optimized for brush application. Always spray in a ventilated space with a respirator, because it is a flammable lacquer product.
