RLM 71 Dunkelgrün was one of the basic upper camouflage greens of the Luftwaffe. It came into use in the two-color splinter scheme together with RLM 70 and the lower RLM 65, which was the standard for fighters and bombers around 1940. It was carried by early Bf 109s, He 111s, Ju 88s and Do 17s among others.
