Light blue-gray RLM 76, the first of the variants offered in the Real Colors range. An acrylic paint in a 17 ml package for the undersides of German aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
RLM 76 is a very light blue-gray tone that covered the undersides and the lower part of the fuselage sides on later German aircraft. In reality the shade varied from machine to machine, which is why the Real Colors range offers it in several variants. This bottle is variant number one; the other versions are offered separately, so a builder can pick the one that best matches their subject.
On the undersides of the wings, fuselage and tail surfaces, and on the fuselage sides up to the level of the mottling sprayed on in darker shades. For a number of late-war aircraft, RLM 76 forms the base onto which the mottling is then applied, so it is used up more than the other shades in the scheme. Check the extent of the area against the kit's reference drawing or photos of the specific aircraft.
The paint is supplied in a 17 ml volume. Do not pour leftover paint from the mixing tray back into the bottle, to keep contaminants out. Thinner, primer, varnish and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging for thinning, tool cleaning and storage. Work in a well-ventilated room and keep the bottle carefully closed, out of the reach of children.
