The Model Craft scriber is a metal hand tool with a hardened point for scribing and marking on metal, plastic and wood. Besides scribing lines it works as a spring-loaded (automatic) center punch, which with one hand and without a hammer makes a precise dimple for the tip of a drill bit. The spring tension is set by turning the knurled head, and a pocket clip is included for carrying it comfortably.
