SCC No.15 Olive Drab

Mr.Paint SCC No. 15 Olive Drab

This is a solvent-based modeling lacquer, not a water-thinnable acrylic. It comes in a 30 ml bottle, pre-thinned and intended primarily for airbrushing. SCC No. 15 Olive Drab is the base olive shade of British armored vehicles used from 1944 onward.

Use

• Spray it with an airbrush straight from the bottle; with a 0.3 mm nozzle it usually needs no further thinning (pressure roughly 10 to 25 psi).
• Apply it in thin coats over a primer; the coats dry quickly.
• Thin it and clean the airbrush with Mr.Paint lacquer (nitro) thinner, NEVER with water.
• Once dry the finish is satin to semi-gloss; it works well as an overall base color.

Who it is for

For modelers of armor and military vehicles who work with an airbrush and build British vehicles of the late Second World War in their uniform olive finish.

A flammable solvent-based liquid. Spray in a well-ventilated space, use a respirator and keep it away from open flame.
