Voyager Model Scribing Template Set 7

This is a modeling aid, not a kit. The set contains thin photo-etched metal templates with cut-outs of various shapes, along which new lines and details are traced with a scriber or a blade. It serves to restore or add panel lines on plastic parts.

Work tips

Hold the template firmly or tape it down with masking tape so that it cannot move, and cut the groove with repeated light strokes rather than one heavy one. Work from a shallow groove up to the final depth and level the burr that forms with fine abrasive paper. Hold the scriber square to the edge of the template.
