A plastic kit of the mobile suit Sergeant Verde Buster Gundam from the Japanese company Bandai, offered as a set with the DX designation. At Bandai the abbreviation DX marks an extended package, that is a set filled out beyond the basic release. The build runs by snapping the parts together, so it gets by without glue.
The Verde Buster is a mobile suit from the wider Gundam world, following on from the design line of Buster machines, that is suits built around heavy fire support at longer range, with the armament carried on the back and on the shoulders. The epithet Sergeant refers to a particular guise of the machine in the story. It is not real equipment but animation and game design.
Nip the parts off a little from the edge and clean the remainder of the gate up with a knife or a fine file. Mecha models gain a great deal from picking the engraved lines out with a dark paneliner and from refining the small areas with a brush. If you will be painting with an airbrush, mask the joints off beforehand, because paint in them changes the friction. The weapons and the back-mounted armament are practical to build and paint separately, while they are reachable from every side, and to fit to the model at the very end. Even the surface out with a matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
