This is an accessory for ship models in the form of a small boat. It is metal and it measures 100 mm. With a part like this the length is decisive, because the boat has to match the size of the model it is to sit on. Before you order it, therefore, compare those hundred millimeters with the place you want to put it, or with the scale of your own model.
The material is given only by the word metal. That does no harm to the work, because the procedure with metal parts is much the same: first wash the surface with warm soapy water and let it dry thoroughly, so that no greasy film is left on it. Sand the surplus material and the traces of production off carefully with fine abrasive paper or a file, but only where you will not touch the shape of the part.
Paint holds worse on bare metal than on plastic, so it pays to lay down a primer intended for metal surfaces first and only then the top shade. It is bonded with super glue, and at a loaded joint more reliably with two-part epoxy; liquid cement for polystyrene does not hold on metal at all. Degrease the joint face beforehand and support the part while the glue sets so that it does not slip.
