A thick white acrylic paste with grit, in a package with a volume of thirty milliliters, intended for creating snow-covered surfaces. With a single application you both color and texture the surface, so snow does not have to be built up from several materials. You decide the thickness of the layer yourself, from a thin dusting to a continuous blanket, and the material is shaped with a brush or a spatula.
The most frequent mistake is spreading the paste evenly over the whole surface. Real snow lies unevenly: it holds in the lee, on horizontal surfaces and in recesses, while raised edges and vertical walls tend to be blown clear and bare. Apply it in patches, therefore, and let the edges show through. According to the manufacturer the paste dries in roughly five to thirty minutes depending on thickness and is thinned with water; tools wash off with water while the paste is wet. Thick layers dry longer and crack if the drying is hurried with heat.
For builders of winter dioramas, for modelers of vehicles from the Eastern Front and for painters of figures who make their own bases. A winter scene does not need much material: a few well placed patches of snow are usually enough for a convincing impression, and the contrast with a dark base does the rest.
Keep the product out of the reach of children, ventilate while working and close the container after use, or the contents will dry out.
