Mr.Paint Soviet Protective Green KhV-518 is a lacquer (solvent-based) paint from Mr.Paint intended exclusively for airbrush application. The bottle holds 30 ml. It reproduces the Soviet protective green designated KhV-518 (the Russian designation transliterated into Latin script) — the typical base color of Soviet military vehicles, above all of armored vehicles and the T-54, T-55, T-62, T-64 and T-72 tanks. The paint has a fluid consistency and comes pre-thinned to a sprayable density.

Use

• suitable for the airbrush ONLY — it is not intended for the brush because of its fluid, thin consistency
• apply in several thin coats over a primed surface
• if you need to thin it further, use a suitable thinner for lacquer paints from the same manufacturer
• ideal as the base shade of Soviet armored vehicles and of the T-54 to T-72 tanks
• it dries quickly and makes a good base for filters, washes and pigments during weathering
