Responsibility details are not available.
Space Green is an acrylic from the Quick Gen Color range, which AK interactive builds for painting figures and gaming models. It is thinned with water or with the medium from the same range. The name of the shade points to the rich green that players know from the armor and hulls of space equipment - it is a description of the color, not a claim of belonging to any game world.
A rich green is a shade for the main surfaces: armor, helmets, machine bodies, large panels. Over a dark base it is built up in layers; over a medium gray it comes up faster. If you want to keep depth, let the darker ground show through in the recesses and mix a lighter version by adding ocher or a pale green rather than pure white - white also clouds a rich green.
The rule about muting saturation in scale grew up around aircraft and vehicles: a large surface on a scaled-down model has to be lightened and desaturated, because otherwise the eye reads the shade as overdone. On a figure a few centimeters tall something different applies. You hold it close, the surface is small and broken up, and the shadow from every fold darkens the color on its own. If you were to lower the saturation as a precaution, the figure would go gray in the display case and stop reading. On gaming models legibility at arm's length across the table matters as well. So leave a rich green rich and handle the differences with light and shadow, not by desaturating the base tone.
Work in a ventilated area. Close the bottle carefully after use.
