VMS Spot-On Pigment No. 24 Soot Black

A finely ground dry pigment (colored powder) from VMS in a deep soot black. Soot Black is intended for imitating soot, exhaust residue, burns and smoked surfaces around engines, weapons and exhausts.

Use

  • It is applied dry with a soft brush, by stippling or by light rubbing.
  • It is fixed with a pigment fixative or bound with a weathering medium according to your habits.
  • Ideal for exhausts, barrels, the surroundings of engines and smoked panels.
  • You grade its intensity well by layering and by mixing with brown shades.

Who it is for

For modelers who want realistic traces of soot and burning on vehicles, aircraft and dioramas.

This is a fine powder. Work in a well-ventilated space, do not inhale the pigment and protect your eyes.
