A set of modeling screwdrivers for work with small screws on models, bases and in small electronics.
Responsibility details are not available.
Screwdrivers with small tips belong in every modeling workshop. You need them for the screws in bases and stands, for the covers of battery compartments on models with lighting, for display cases that come apart and for small electronics, where an ordinary workshop screwdriver has no business being in the slot. They will also be appreciated by anyone who takes finished collector's models apart to repaint them or to replace a part.
Always take the tip that fills the slot across its whole width. A smaller tip tears the slot out and then nothing will undo the screw. Press in line with the screw and turn slowly, not in jerks. Tighten small screws only gently, because plastic and soft metal strip a thread easily. A screwdriver is not a pry bar or a scriber; to open seams and separate glued parts, use a tool meant for that.
Wipe the tips after work and leave them dry, otherwise corrosion will appear on them and they will stop sitting properly in the slot. Store the set so that the tips do not rub against other tools, ideally in the original packaging or in a tool stand. A bent or battered tip no longer holds the slot and is worth taking out of service.
For the modeler who builds plastic models and needs tools for small screws to hand, and for collectors of finished models as well. The exact composition of the set, that is the number of pieces and the sizes of the tips, is to be found in the manufacturer's data. Models, paints and glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
