Stainless steel T-ruler — size L

The larger form of the stainless steel modeling straight edge from the brand Master Tools. The T-shaped head braces against the edge of a sheet or a part, and the longer arm then guides a knife or a scribing needle in an exact perpendicular along its whole length, ideal where a short ruler is not enough and the cut has to be carried through in one stroke.

Size L complements the smaller S form: the smaller one suits fine work at the mat, the longer one the formats where a short ruler has to be laid on twice, and that is exactly where crooked cuts arise.

When cutting along the ruler, guide the blade with light pressure and rather in several strokes; keep your fingers out of the path of the knife.
