A stylized kit of the USAF Thunderbirds F-16C and F-16D (egg plane) from Freedom Model Kits - two shortened caricature models without a fixed scale, mostly snap-fit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A stylized plastic kit from the Compact (egg plane) range by Freedom Model Kits. These are two caricature-shortened models of the F-16C and F-16D fighters in the colors of the American aerobatic team Thunderbirds. Egg planes have no realistic scale - the fuselage is deliberately shortened and bulbous, so no scale is given for them. The box contains two models, clear parts, decals and a pilot figure. The models are designed mostly as snap-fit, so they can be built even without glue. The exact content of the package is not stated here.
The Thunderbirds are the official aerobatic team of the US Air Force (USAF), which performs precise formation and solo displays on F-16 aircraft. Their machines carry a striking white, red and blue color scheme. The F-16C version is single-seat, the F-16D two-seat - in this set both come in a charmingly stylized egg form.
Cut the parts from the sprues and clean them up. The joints are designed to snap together, yet a little cement for plastic can be used for a firmer and cleaner result. The striking white Thunderbirds scheme comes out best over a light primer; apply the decals onto a smooth gloss surface. Thanks to the easy build these models are suitable for beginners as well and make a quick, relaxing project.
The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
