TS-55 Dark Blue 100ml

Tamiya TS-55 Dark Blue, 100 ml Spray

TS-55 Dark Blue is a spray paint from the TS line by manufacturer Tamiya. It is a synthetic lacquer spray in a dark blue glossy shade. The package holds 100 ml and is ready for immediate use without thinning. The TS line is designed primarily for plastic models but also performs well on other solid surfaces. It suits large body panels as well as smaller parts.

Use

• Shake the spray can briefly before applying and test the spray on a spare part.
• Apply in thin coats from a distance so the paint doesn't run and forms a smooth, even surface.
• For the best result, use a suitable primer; the rich blue covers best over an even base coat.
• The TS line dries quickly; let the paint dry thoroughly before decals and any matting.

Who the Paint Is For

Suitable for builders of automotive, aircraft, and other models who need a dark blue glossy shade for large as well as smaller surfaces. The glossy surface is a good base for decals; for a final matte or semigloss look, it can be top-coated with a matching clear coat. The spray works well both as a body base color and as a rich accent on details where a clean, even surface without brush strokes is needed.

The paint is flammable. Work in a well-ventilated space, away from ignition sources, and wear respiratory protection. The exact shade on the model may differ from the impression given by the cap.
