The DSPIAE scribing hook serves for scribing and going over panel lines on plastic models. The tip is of hard tungsten steel, which holds its edge and cleanly scribes a thin line. The tool is drawn toward you and the hook takes the material out, so a regular engraved groove arises. It suits deepening existing lines as well as scribing new ones.
An aid for modelers who want to bring out panel detail and surface detail. For the best control it proves useful to fit it into a handle with a 3.175 mm collet. It is not a kit but a tool.
The tip is very sharp - use it with care and keep it out of the reach of children.
