Lifecolor Blue-Black SCC 14 is an acrylic very dark blue-black of the British coding. In a scheme it goes onto a model as the last color layer.
Responsibility details are not available.
Blue-black stripes are the part of a British scheme that is applied last. The designation SCC 14 belongs to the dark disruptive color that appeared on vehicles over a finished base coat, and another manufacturer uses the same British designation. On a model it is worked just as it was in reality: it is added, not started with.
The model first has its ground, then its main tone over the whole surface, which has to be dry. Only then is the drawing of the dark stripes laid out. Because the shade is very dark, every excess shows immediately, so it pays to apply it narrowly and preferably in two passes. Once the drawing is finished the surface is unified and weathering comes. With this color that matters doubly, because a fresh dark surface reads hard on a small model and only dust and a light brightening settle it among the other tones. The spot accents are added at the very end.
For modelers of British vehicles who build a multicolor scheme in a set order and need a very dark tone that is not pure black. It also suits everywhere black would be too hard in a small scale.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before use, close it well after work and store it out of the reach of children.
