Cast iron has a different character from rolled sheet metal, and Cast Iron from the Lifecolor acrylic range respects that: it is a dark gray-black tone for cast iron parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
A Lifecolor acrylic paint from the group of industrial metals, mixed for cast iron. Cast iron has a dark character shifted slightly toward brown and a coarser surface than rolled sheet metal, so the paint for it has to be darker and less cool than an ordinary steel gray.

How to tell cast iron from steel
The difference is not made by the shade alone but above all by the way the surface reflects light. Cast iron is meant to be inconsistent: first an overall base, then fine lighter patches applied with a sponge or the tip of a brush and finally a dark wash into the recesses. When a steel part beside it is left smoother and cooler, the difference between the two materials is readable at first glance and the scene immediately gains in believability.
The paint is applied with the brush and the airbrush alike. Stir it thoroughly before work, so that the shade is the same on all the parts.
For diorama builders, railway modelers and modelers of vehicles who need believable cast iron distinguished from the other metals in a scene.
Keep out of the reach of children. Work in a ventilated area.
